BSc Medical Laboratory Technology

Co-Operative Institute of Health Sciences Thalassry has been conducting Bachelor of Science course in Medical Laboratory Technology along with other courses approved by Government of Kerala, Kerala Paramedical Council and affiliated to KUHS (Kerala University of Health Sciences).

Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology is an undergraduate programme in the field of Paramedical Sciences. Medical Laboratory Professional is a highly skilled scientist who discovers the presence/absence of diseases and the cause of overlying infection and provides data that helps the physician to diagnose and determine the best treatment for the patient. BSc MLT course will cover a syllabus described by Kerala University of Health Sciences. The programme covers practical experiments along with theory classes. The student with a degree in MLT has greater opportunities ahead and they are assured with attractive remunerations packages in the healthcare sector and other sectors. They can also go for their higher studies including Masters in MLT etc.

ELIGIBILITY :

• Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or Examinations recognized equivalent thereto, with 50% marks.
• Candidate should have completed 17 years of age prior to the joining of the Course.
